Just like his father, George lived a very short life, so the opportunity to find meaningful facts about him is very limited.
George esquire, of Stoodleigh and Camerton, Somerset, was born in 1511 and died at the young age of 27 in 1538.
He married Margaret Englefield.
They had two sons, John and Thomas, and a daughter Elizabeth.
Margaret was also born in Camerton, Somerset in 1516 (Wikitree). She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Englefield (1488-1537) and Lady Elizabeth Throckmorton (1490-1543), of Englefield, Berkshire (Source: Probate 11/58/517 of Sir Edward Saunders).
After the death of husband George, Margaret married Edward Saunders (4 Apr 1506 – 12 Nov 1576). (Source: historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1509-1558/member/saunders-edward-1506-76)
Edward, of Whitefriars, London; Westminster, Middlesex; and Weston-Under-Wetherley, Warwickshire. was the Chief Baron of the Exchequer.
In his probate (11/58/517), Edward willed his body be buried at the parish church of Weston-Under-Wetherley. In that will he left one hundred pounds to his son-in-law Thomas Morgan and Mary his wife, daughter of Edward.
Margaret and Edward had one daughter, Mary Saunders who married Thomas Morgan (as quoted in his probate 11/58/517)
Margaret died on 11 Oct 1563 (Wikitree).
